It’s not about how many times you fall, it’s about the success that comes with failure and not giving up or staying down. Successful people are known with attributes that define them. For Thomas Edison (the man who invented the Electric Bulb and among other things), He continue in his course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no prospect of success, Apparently, bouncing back after a fall was his strong point and has led to his recognition worldwide even years after his demise.
Rising up after a fall time and again isn’t an easy task to do, honestly because it takes great physical and mental strength to do that. Not a task for the weak, I must say. Who rises up a thousand times other than Thomas Edison, that man has something we can all have if we put it to use.
He must have been very determined and aggressive about achieving his dream. I can imagine his family and friends saying “Thomas, why not try something new instead of working on this fruitless project?”, they might have probably said this after his tenth try, but he had an inner voice compelling him to do more and he did it. Today, we talk about Thomas Edison with little or no introduction because decades after his invention, he created something the world can’t do without.
Your plan on achieving success might sound funny or crazy to someone, you might have tried it over twenty times and it’s not working. Rather than kill the dream, kill the method. Doing the same thing several times will produce the same result and I’m sure Thomas Edison changed his method, Every time a method he tried failed, and he did that a thousand times until he succeeded.
Through Hard work, Focus, Determination and Perseverance, Success can be Achieved. If Thomas Edison could do it, you can do it too!
